SPATIAL INTERPRETATION OF QUIET LUXURY
This bedroom design stands out not with a strong color but with layers of material, texture, and light. Unlike the dramatic color approach in the first project, the aim here is to create a timeless, sophisticated, and soft atmosphere.
Spatial Setup: Suite Comfort
This bedroom is not only a sleeping area; it is a living space divided into zones within itself.
- Sleeping area
- Console and decorative band designed behind the headboard
- Dressing area separated by glass partition
- Mini seating area positioned in front of the window
This planning brings the space closer to hotel suite comfort.
Form and Texture: Soft Volumes
The bed design is voluminous and sculptural. The light-colored bouclé textured fabric adds warmth and tactile richness to the space.
- Rounded corners → safe and inviting feeling
- Thick-framed base → strong but calm stance
- Layered pillow arrangement → emphasis on comfort
Sharp lines are kept to a minimum. The space is built on fluidity rather than sharpness.
Background Design: Symmetry and Focus
The design behind the headboard works like an architectural panel.
- Vertical slat details → rhythm
- Black marble-look panels → contrast and depth
- Oval mirror → softening hard geometries
- Hidden LED lighting → background light effect
This composition transforms the bed wall from ordinary into the focal point of the space.
Lighting Scenario: Layered Light
Linear light bands around the ceiling and recessed spotlights provide homogeneous illumination to the space.
- Hidden LED → ambiance
- Wall sconces → local warmth
- Ceiling spotlights → general lighting
Light in this project is not decorative; it is a part of the architecture.
Seating Area: Rest + Social Space
The mini seating area designed in front of the window transforms the bedroom from being only a sleeping space.
- Two organic-form armchairs
- Round glass coffee table
- Zoning with a light-toned rug
This area is designed for morning coffee, evening conversations, or individual relaxation.
Glass Dressing Area: Transparency and Depth
The glass partition separates the space without narrowing it. The combination of wood and glass creates a modern contrast.
- Transparency → enlarging volume perception
- Reflection → spatial depth
- Dark-toned surfaces → sophisticated effect
