Emerald Green Modern Bathroom

In this bathroom design, we reflected nature's tranquility into the space through the bold contrast of emerald green herringbone tiles and natural oak slatted wall panels. Balanced by matte forest green lacquered surfaces, an open timber storage tower with vertical LED accent lighting, and a matte black-framed shower enclosure, the layout delivers high-end plumbing integration within a compact footprint to infuse the bathroom with a sculptural, restorative, and contemporary identity.

Our primary objective in this project is to optimize the compact bathroom footprint through bold textural transitions and intelligent vertical storage solutions, offering the user a luxury spa experience. By concealing the in-wall cistern and plumbing runs behind tailored architectural joinery while lending depth through illuminated open niches, we aimed to seamlessly unite technical precision with natural luxury in flawless everyday ergonomics.

Design Decisions That Transform the Space

Emerald Green Herringbone and Timber Slat Contemporary Bathroom Design

A high-end restorative retreat was curated through bold color contrasts, architectural storage solutions, and precise plumbing integration. Glossy emerald green herringbone tiles, vertical wood slats, and a vertically illuminated niche tower imbue the space with a dynamic, sculptural, and contemporary luxury identity.

Material and Color Balance

  • Gloss-glazed, richly textured emerald green herringbone (chevron) ceramics were applied across the accent feature wall within the shower zone.

  • Natural oak vertical slatted paneling was chosen for the vanity back and mirror facade, lending acoustic comfort and visual warmth to the setting.

  • Seamless matte petrol/forest green lacquered surfaces across the floating vanity carcass and concealed cistern tower establish monolithic color continuity.

  • Large-format porcelain stoneware in light beige micro-stone textures clad the floor plane and open walls to maximize daylight and spatial clarity.

  • Matte black finishes were featured across the glass partition framework, shower mixer, hand shower, flush actuator plate, and hygienic bidet spray.

Technical and Architectural Layout

  • Integrated Vertical LED-Guided Timber Shelf Tower: The vertical junction between the cistern tower and shower enclosure was transformed into a full-height open timber niche unit, framed with concealed linear LED lighting for shampoo, amenities, and fragrances.

  • Concealed Cistern Mechanism & Plumbing Infrastructure: The wall-hung toilet cistern chassis was fully concealed behind petrol-green lacquered joinery, with the upper volume maximized into a full-height storage cabinet.

  • Compact Vanity & Countertop Fabrication: The wall-hung console vanity combines a white countertop, matte white vessel sink, open timber side cubbies, and fully concealed supply/waste piping for compact everyday ergonomics.

  • Ceiling Ballast Housing & Cable Trays: In-ceiling cable routing, power drivers, and ballast housings were resolved within the dropped drywall void to deliver seamless, flicker-free cove wash lighting and recessed spotlights.

  • Black-Framed Corner Shower Enclosure: Installed over a low-profile shower receptor, the dual-leaf clear glass screen with black metal frames prevents water splash while preserving unobstructed visual depth.

Project Notes
  • Glossy emerald green herringbone tiles were applied across the focal accent wall inside the shower.

  • The wall-hung vanity unit was appointed with a white worktop, a matte white vessel basin, and open timber side cubbies.
  • Matte black finishes were emphasized across the shower mixer, hand shower, flush actuator plate, bidet spray, and toilet brush set.

Cobalt Blue & Wood Modern Bathroom

In this bathroom design, we brought the bold energy of cobalt blue together with the warmth of natural oak slatted panels and graphic matte black accents in a well-balanced composition. Small-format blue square ceramics in the shower zone unite with a matte midnight-blue four-drawer console vanity, a circular backlit mirror, and a four-tiered illuminated oak niche tower above the concealed cistern to impart a dynamic, sculptural, and contemporary luxury identity to the space.
