This project combines the restful simplicity of Japanese and Scandinavian (Japandi) design with contemporary spa comfort. Natural light-oak craftsmanship, warm limestone/beige microcement surfaces, an integrated Corian basin and brushed brass fittings form the palette. A full-height recessed timber niche, a tropical leaf-relief concealed LED ceiling cove, a walk-in shower with a bench and sculptural glass wall lights turn daily bathing into a refined restorative experience.
Material and Colour Balance
A two-drawer natural light-oak-veneered floating vanity preserves horizontal grain continuity and incorporates a brushed brass towel rail into its side panel.
A monolithic, smooth matt-white Corian / solid-surface countertop includes an integrated sloped basin.
A full-height four-tier natural oak compartment niche is recessed into the wall behind the toilet, with concealed LEDs at every shelf.
Light-beige / warm sandstone-textured microcement / porcelain surfaces cover the main walls and floor, creating a soft seamless depth.
Vertically arranged ivory/beige mosaic tiles clad the shower walls and level-access floor. An integrated tiled bench provides seating.
A vertical rectangular mirror above the basin has a brushed brass frame and even warm 3000K integrated LED lighting.
Symmetrical clear cylindrical glass-tube wall lights with brushed brass bases provide sculptural illumination on either side.
An organic leaf-relief ceiling cove with concealed LEDs and a horizontal warm LED-lit shampoo niche give the space a distinctive lighting identity.
Wall-mounted brushed brass / matt-gold basin fittings, a round ceiling-mounted overhead shower, hand shower and towel rails share the same warm metallic finish.
A white monobloc toilet, an organically curved light-taupe shaggy bath rug and a solid timber spa stool complete the room.
Technical and Architectural Design
Spa Shower with a Bench: An ergonomic tiled seat and ceiling-mounted rain shower create a hotel-inspired space for relaxation and hydrotherapy-style bathing.
Seamless Hygiene and Integrated Corian: A one-piece joint-free basin and wall-mounted tap help prevent water collecting on the countertop and simplify cleaning.
Recessed Wall Architecture: The full-height timber niche and continuous LED-lit shower niche provide storage within the wall depth without projecting into the room.
