Horizontally Jointed Matt Dark-Beige Lacquered Over-Bed Wardrobe (RAL 7044) with Light-Oak Bookcases
This project brings functional shelving and storage to the headboard wall through horizontally jointed matt dark-beige lacquered doors (RAL 7044 Silk Grey / dark beige), a natural light-oak-veneered headboard niche with multiple compartments and an ethnic-textured fabric headboard. Tall wardrobes frame the bed alongside overhead modules, integrated side bookcase shelves, long vertical black metal handles and concealed warm 2700K linear LEDs, creating a welcoming, balanced and contemporary Japandi-bohemian suite.
Material and Colour Balance
Matt dark-beige lacquer (RAL 7044) with rhythmic horizontal shadow joints covers the tall doors and overhead modules.
Natural light-oak veneer is used for the upper display shelf behind the bed, the three-compartment open bookcase and the side shelving towers.
An upright headboard panel covered in ethnic-patterned linen/wool-textured fabric brings a crafted character and acoustic warmth.
A concealed warm linear LED strip at 2700K–3000K is recessed along the upper edge of the open display shelf to highlight books and objects evenly.
Matt-black cylindrical full-length vertical handles create an elegant contrast on the tall doors; overhead storage uses push-to-open fittings.
A modern black-framed LED pendant, natural oak herringbone parquet and a textured beige handwoven rug complete the natural tone-on-tone composition.
Technical and Architectural Design
Integrated Headboard Bookcase: Open shelves above and on both sides of the bed replace the need for conventional bedside tables, creating a niche with generous storage capacity.
Horizontal Shadow Joints: Fine horizontal joints break up the perceived mass of the wide cabinetry, adding a balanced contemporary rhythm across the wall.
Integrated Lighting and Material Transitions: The warmth of the light-oak niche and concealed LEDs combines with calm lacquered fronts to create a restful headboard atmosphere.
