This calm entryway unit combines a unified timber composition with contemporary organic details and traditional geometric accents. Richly grained dark oak/walnut surfaces, vertical architectural slats and concealed warm LEDs work together throughout the design. A substantial four-door wardrobe extends flush to the ceiling, accompanied by two-tier open display shelves, a slatted coat-hook backdrop, an integrated side bookcase/accessory niche, a bench with a patterned cushion and an open shoe-storage space below. The result brings a warm, sophisticated, contemporary luxury-chalet/modern rustic character to the entrance.
Material and Colour Balance
Deeply grained natural dark oak/walnut veneer was used on the main cabinet fronts, upper doors, structural uprights, open shelves and bench.
Vertical oak slat panels add depth and rhythm behind the coat hooks and upper display niche.
Matt black metal profile handles balance the visual weight of the timber and emphasise its vertical lines, while minimal individual black hooks serve the coat area.
A beige/brown geometric jacquard fabric cushion and a sand-beige cylindrical lumbar pillow contrast with the oak tones.
Matt black magnetic track spotlights overhead and large-format light grey matt floor tiles give the warm timber composition a contemporary setting.
Technical and Architectural Design
A four-door, ceiling-height monolithic wardrobe: the unit fills the left-hand side with four main full-height doors and four upper cupboards, providing continuous enclosed storage with maximum capacity.
Two-tier upper shelves and a slatted backdrop: open timber shelves above the bench display ceramics and sculptural objects, while the slatted backing maintains vertical continuity.
A vertical-slat coat-hook niche: five functional black hooks for coats and jackets are positioned on the slatted backdrop beneath the open shelves.
Two concealed linear lighting runs: warm LEDs beneath the upper shelf and along the top of the coat niche wash over the slats, revealing the natural timber texture and grain with dramatic warmth.
A right-hand bookcase/display niche: three-tier open shelving integrated vertically into the bench’s right side provides an elegant place for a table lamp, diffusers and books.
An upholstered bench and open shoe storage: a generous seat makes putting on shoes comfortable, while the space beneath offers practical, readily accessible storage for everyday footwear.
