This entrance project creates a spacious, welcoming and functional composition through silk-matt deep petrol/indigo-blue lacquer, vertically rhythmic dark oak/walnut slats and a round backlit mirror. A low drawer console and open shoe-storage bench replace tall cabinetry, preserving daylight and balance in a narrow hallway while introducing a contemporary boutique coastal-residence character.
Material and Colour Balance
Silk-matt petrol/indigo-blue lacquer covers the drawer console and open shoe-storage bench.
Natural dark-walnut vertical slats on the left coat wall add organic texture and warmth.
Small brushed bronze / aged-brass round knobs provide refined contrast on the console drawers.
A light cream/beige linen-textured foam cushion and bespoke branded decorative pillows make the bench comfortable.
Minimal brushed-metal hooks fixed to the timber slats provide hanging for coats and bags.
A round LED-backlit mirror above the console softens the composition and casts even warm light around its perimeter.
An areca palm in a travertine/concrete-textured planter at the right corner and a woven beige jute runner complement the blue lacquer with natural elements.
Technical and Architectural Design
Four-Drawer Console: Three shallow horizontal drawers and one deep lower drawer on the right provide enclosed storage for keys, wallets, scarves and entrance accessories.
Round Halo-Lit Mirror: A soft circular focal point above the precise furniture lines provides warm welcoming light through concealed indirect LEDs.
Full-Height Slatted Backdrop: Vertical timber panelling beside the door incorporates coat hooks and adds acoustic comfort.
Two-Tier Shoe Storage and Bench: Cushioned seating simplifies putting on or removing shoes; two open shelf levels below offer accessible ventilated storage for shoes and slippers.
Low Furniture and Spacious Planning: A low console and open coat-storage modules preserve brightness and reduce enclosure in the narrow entrance corridor.
